Fall is here!

Have a wonderful fall season everyone!

Talk to your teen

School has started up and everyone is busy, especially your high school students. That doesn't mean that there isn't time for a conversation about Marijuana. The conversation never ends, even if it's just a reminder.

Talk to your kids about Marijuana and how it can affect their bodies, social lives and academics. We have information here on our website or contact a Prevention and Education Team Member directly.

National Substance Abuse Prevention Month

October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month. We focus on prevention 365 days a year but this is the time of year where the services we provide are really highlighted so that we can continue those same services year after year. Illinois Youth Survey

The Illinois Youth Survey (IYS) is the only survey that schools have that is a comprehensive survey for substance abuse and mental health issues. We need your help in promoting this survey for DeKalb County schools. The survey is anonymous and free for 8th, 10th and 12th grade students to take during school. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact a P&E team member or visit:         https://iys.cprd.illinois.edu/faqs/parent
